3DM Solutions Team Picnic: Fun, Bonding, and Memories
Amidst the everyday deadlines, to-do lists, and hustle and bustle, the mere mention of the word “picnic” can make any corporate employee’s ears perk up. As the weekend approaches, anticipation builds with every passing minute. A list of must-have items is shared in the office chat group, and each member self-designates the items they can bring. The list gets checked off one by one, but the sports equipment remained unaccounted for—though that didn’t take long to resolve. The perfect picnic was coming together: bags were packed, transportation was arranged, food was prepared, and everyone was high on excitement and running low on sleep. What was left to do? Have fun, of course!
Picnic Day Kickoff
On October 19, 2024, 3DM Solutions organized a picnic at The Pearl Resort in Malir Cantt. The day kicked off with a traditional Pakistani breakfast of halwa puri as we arrived at the hotel bright and early at 7 a.m. Achieving this on a regular workday would be a challenge, but not on picnic day!
With full stomachs, we made our way to the picnic spot, where the first order of business was the swimming pool—an all-time favorite. Who doesn’t love the water? We played badminton, cricket, cards, and table football. One team dominated, while an office member outperformed another; it was a time filled with friendly competition and laughter.
Those who are typically cooped up in a four-walled workspace, staring at computer screens for 8 to 9 hours a day, transform into bundles of energy in open spaces—if not a little wild!
At lunchtime, we enjoyed the majestic biryani, which always reigns supreme.
Signing Off After a Fun-Filled Day
After another refreshing dip in the pool, it was time to hit the road back home. It’s true what they say: all good things must come to an end. Work can often be stressful, and taking time away from the daily grind allows employees to unwind and recharge. At 3DM Solutions, we hope this break from routine not only alleviated stress but also helped prevent burnout, leaving our employees feeling refreshed and motivated when they return to their tasks.
